BACKGROUND

Young people isn't interested in traditional museums

In general, young people has some sort of negative association with traditional musesums, and finds the visits to these places both time-consuming and boring. The MUNCH museum gave the plot for getting youngsters to visit them and get interested in the art.

OUTCOME

Interactive art is fun

Create a space where passersby can take part in art in a quick, free and fun way. Pop-up containers are moved to different locations in Oslo and the surrounding area. Here, you can scream into a "hole". These screams will simultaneously be heard at MUNCH through a sound shower at the Skrik exhibition.

SOLUTIONS

Spontaneity

Quick pass-by activity, doesnt take several hours, and is free. No need to plan or book ahead. The experience is connected with the trend of sudden accuring elements that catches the young peoples attention.

Take part in art

Young people enjoy interactive activities, where they feel a sense of ownership towards the experience, with a "out of comfort-zone" experience, combined with art, the user can feel achievement and excitement at once.
